Inspirations for tomorrow's heirlooms…….

Where OPTIONS are a must……..

Carolyn's Corner

I can't believe its autumn already. Now, I just love the fall months, they are my favorite, but where did summer go? I guess that is a sign of old age when you can't figure out where the days have gone. I guess I have just informed all my customers that I am OLD. Maybe I should try again. I have been so busy this year I have missed out on my summer. Now, that's better. I am also now free lancing for McCalls Quick Quilts and McCalls Quilting also. We have a lot of great things happening this fall in the shoppe. Mystery Night, Snipe Night, Retreat, Quilt Show, new samples and lots and lots of new classes; New block exchange, Elizabeth's ALL NEW Sewority, Purse Central, and I have 7 new patterns coming out. We have the new Bali Lama Club (for those of you that like batiks). It's going to be a great fall. We have a lot of fun and exciting things on the schedule so keep reading.

See you all soon. Carolyn

Lighthouse of Oakland County

The time of real need will soon be upon us. The Lighthouse of Oakland County is really in need of help. There are a lot of families in the community in need, so if you have an extra jar of peanut butter, jelly, tuna or whatever (non-perishables) just drop it off here at the shoppe and we will make sure it gets to them if you don't have time. We make regular trips to Lighthouse of Oakland County in Clarkston. So if you are feeling grateful in this economy, remember that there are others less fortunate. It's all about community helping community and we Americans know how to help. Giving to someone in need makes you feel great! Also as all you know, I have a real soft spot for children; remember that Lighthouse has a Christmas Store. They try to make sure every child has a Christmas. We are still collecting fun pillowcases and doll quilts for them. Every child should have something for Christmas. Thanks in advance for all your donations and support to help our community.

This Year's Motto: Clean, Organize, and Finish!!!!
